Girls Who Code is an after school club for girls grade 3rd through 5th who are interested in coding, robotics, and electronics. The club is for beginners to explore coding in a fun and friendly environment.
Our goal is to find opportunities for girls to be brave, creative, and supportive while actively working to close the technology gender gap.
What Will You Learn?
You and your friends will learn about the basics of computer science and some of the awesome women who use technology to create amazing things. You will also work together to create cool projects and complete challenges.
What Happens During a Club?
Each meeting will kick off exploring computer science and design. Then, we will complete fun, interactive activities that challenge you to unleash your creativity and personality.
Can You Join?
Yes! Anyone can join if you’re creative, curious, and want to learn more about how to make computers think. Whether you’re a beginner or a computer master, you’ll get to make new friends as you explore and learn together!
