Join us for an intimate 45-minute performance and lecture by singer, songwriter, and producer Daniel Pak, brought to you by Quad City Arts. This event is open to all patrons and members of the public, free of charge.
Originally hailing from the vibrant island of O`ahu, Daniel Pak has established himself as a dynamic presence in the music scene, now based in Seattle, Washington. As the former frontman for Kore Ionz from 2008 to 2017, Pak has graced stages alongside reggae legends such as The Wailers, Steel Pulse, and Toots and the Maytals.
Since embarking on his solo career in 2018, Pak continues to captivate audiences with his soulful vocals and compelling songwriting. His musical journey has led him to collaborate with notable figures in the industry, including sharing the stage with Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam and hip-hop icon Sir Mix-a-Lot. Currently, Pak is immersed in creating new music, collaborating with esteemed producers such as Eric Lilavois (known for his work with My Chemical Romance), Steve Fisk (renowned for his contributions to Nirvana and Soundgarden), and Thaddeus Turner (a member of Digable Planets).
Beyond his artistic endeavors, Daniel Pak is deeply involved in nurturing the next generation of musicians. He is the co-founder and executive director of Totem Star, a nonprofit youth record label dedicated to fostering the talents of aspiring young artists in the Seattle area. Over the past twelve years, Totem Star has provided mentorship and support to nearly 5,000 budding recording artists, embodying Pak's commitment to community and artistic development.
