What happens when a great idea becomes a business? Find out at Biz Quest!
Inspired by The Baby-Sitters Club, this hands-on program introduces young readers to the basics of entrepreneurship through creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and plenty of imagination.
Participants will create their own kid-friendly business, come up with a business name and logo, decide what they will sell or offer, set their prices, and identify their customers. Then the real challenge begins! Kids will draw surprise business scenarios that require them to think on their feet, solve problems, and make decisions like a business owner.
We'll finish with a mini Biz Quest Pitch, where participants can share their business idea with the group. Whether they dream of opening a pet-sitting service, craft shop, bakery, lawn-care business, or something completely original, everyone will have a chance to put their entrepreneurial skills to work.
