Toddlers will easily be introduced to basic concepts of coding, robotics, and technology through songs and stories that demonstrate concepts and play activities that build on these ideas.

1,000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN
Prepare your little one for kindergarten through the world of books. The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless.  Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant and/or toddler.  The goal is to have read 1,000 books before your child starts kindergarten.  For each milestone you reach in your journey (200, 400, 600, 800, and 1,000 books), your little one will receive a prize.  For more information or to register your little one, contact the library reception desk.

This program allows children ages 3-6 to explore coding, robotics, and technology.  Technology skills are becoming more important everyday. Children can easily be introduced to basic concepts through books, rhymes, and songs that demonstrate concepts and play activities that build on these concepts.

If you’re looking for a fun and stimulating activity to keep your toddler entertained and engaged, look no further. This storytime centers around music and movement offering activities that are perfect to engage young learners.  They’ll have a blast dancing, singing, and playing instruments all while developing gross motor skills, locomotor skills, coordination, and teamwork.

WEE-LITTLES ART START
This is way more than an art class. Your child will explore all kinds of art mediums including paint, clay, drawing utensils, and papers. We’ll introduce them to many art elements and principles such as line, color, shape, texture and pattern.

Toddler Tales Storytime

TODDLER TALES STORYTIME
Toddler Tales Storyime will help your pre-readers improve the literacy skills they need for their upcoming kindergarten year. This storytime features longer books which are accompanied by a variety of activities, including finger plays, sings, rhymes, simple crafts, and a healthy snack.

Bow Wow With Books

BOW WOW WITH BOOKS
The Improve your child's reading and communication skills by reading to an animal!  Elementary school-age readers are invited to read to a certified listening therapy dog. Therapy dogs are great listeners and provide an inviting environment for children to practice their reading skills. Participants may select a book from our collection or bring one from home or school.

STEM CHALLENGE
Come to the library for a fun activity that involves STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)! This is your chance to explore diverse activities in spontaneous construction, design thinking, and tinkering.  Come show us what amazing things you can make when given a design challenge, a budget, and limited supplies.  Bridges? Towers? Catapults? Who knows what you may come up with! We’ll provide the supplies, you only have to bring your imagination.

LEGO Club

LEGO CLUB CHALLENGE & FREE BUILD
Hear a story, design amazing creations with a weekly theme, and show off your creative side!  Suitable for boys & girls grades Kindergarten - 5th grade.  LEGOS will be supplied (but donations are always welcome).

Pokémon Club provides a nearby place for you to get together with other fans of both the Pokémon Trading Card Game and the Pokémon video games, and have some fun. Using your own cards and Pokémon video games, you can play, trade, and even earn cool prizes! The best part is that you can do all this with other Pokémon players who love collecting and playing just as much as you do

Way 2 Bee invites the community to join in spreading kindness everyday. This all ages series encourages local residents to be kind to others, be kind to themselves, be kind to animals, and to be kind to the earth.

Art Camp

ART CAMP
Join us and the Figge Art Museum to practice your art skills in watercolor, oil pastel, and colored pencil, and more!  Each session will include a new art project designed ideally for children 1st - 8th grade.

NATURE KIDS
Nature Kids is the perfect first step in introducing the exciting world of animals, plants, and natural resources to young children. The goal is to teach pre-school to elementary-age students environmental appreciation through hands-on activities, crafts, games, and stories.
