Educator Cards - Enhanced Borrowing Privileges

Educators in Coal Valley schools, childcare facilities, or home settings can supplement their curriculum with an abundant, ever-changing supply of books and audiobooks on a range of subjects and reading levels.

​With an Educator Card, you can:​

  • Borrow materials for six weeks.

  • Visit the library to select materials, place electronic reservations, or contact the librarian to gather items (7 to 12 days in advance).

  • Enjoy the benefits of borrowing without overdue fines.

Statement of Educator Card Privileges and Responsibilities​

  • Registrant is responsible for all library materials checked out using this card.

  • All materials should be returned promptly.  Failure to return materials or replace damaged or lost items can result in suspension of borrowing privileges.  The library may resort to legal action to retrieve overdue materials or obtain payment for lost or damaged materials.

  • Lost cards and changes in school, home, or email address, should be reported promptly.

  • There is a replacement charge for a lost card.

  • The Robert R. Jones Library is not responsible for lost, stolen, or abandoned cards.
