The Zero Suicide Initiative has collaborated with the Zero Suicide Institute and the Quad Cities Behavorial Health Coalition in an effort to lower suicide rates and make systemic change within our community.

About the event
Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is an intervention framework in a mental health or self-endangerment crisis. A qualified educator from the Quad Cities Open Network will lead this QPR Training to help you learn and use these skills. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary for this program.
Every year, an average of 53 Quad Cities residents lose their lives to suicide—a tragic statistic that underscores the importance of prevention. This vital training, offered at no cost, will equip you with the knowledge and tools to recognize warning signs, offer support, and take action to save lives.
Suicide is preventable, and by participating in this training, you can make a difference in our community. Get trained. Save a life.
Please be aware that this program will involve discussion of self-harm and suicide.
This training session is capped at 25 participants.
